Message Board – Hall – Office Hours
The Township Message Board is located outside in front of the Township Hall near the door. At times, announcements are also placed on the Township Office door. A drop box is located near tothe Office front door for your convenience. Township secretaries are in the office M-F 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM except holidays and times when thier attandance is required for other events.

Property Tax Payments
Property taxes can now be paid at Citizens National Bank branches. Use the “CLICK HERE” below to find a convenient branch near you.
Late Property Tax Payments
Property tax payments after the due date must be made with certified funds or similar.
No personal checks.
Zoning Permits
A zoning permit is required to erect or alter any structure, upgrade a driveway, and other land uses. Apply before starting work – void violation and penalty.

Pleasantview Township is located in the central portion of Emmet County which is situated in the northwest region of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Pleasantview Township compromises 35.7 square miles of the Emmet County’s 468 square miles. The City of Harbor Springs and Petoskey are approximately seven and ten miles south of the Township. Alanson is located in the southeast and Pellston toward the northeast corners of the Township. Air travel to and from the Township is available via The Pellston Regional Airport and Harbor Spring Municipal Airport.
